Hi Marc, Yes I remember introducing you to my old mate Alan Edwards. He certainly made an impression on anyone that he talked to. There is a feeling that the new organisation has tried to run before they could walk. Maybe they have but I still maintain that the apathy amongst the participants of our great sport has to be the highest there is. As for the ethnic thing I can't answer that one and maybe I shouldn't pass comment seeing as I frequently 'rant' about the fish stealing bandits from the Eastern European block as I don't wish to be branded a racist. Bottom line Marc and all the other genuine lovers of this game of ours. Get your 20 quids sent off before it's too late.

  1. Indeed it may be for the best to not say too much about the fish thefts (regardless of where they come from!)
Maybe if the trust made a point about this particular issue and came down hard on any perpetrators regardless of ethnicity (and then publish the names-which I would seriously doubt any smiths, jones, browns et al would be amongst them....would that still be racist given the facts of the thefts?)
Maybe the trust would get more support, given the amount of column inches in the weeklies and threads on the internet forums this issue gets.
Regardless, I am a member now and pledge my full support, I have even asked the breadknife to join but I think you should persuade her too!
Notice your little site get a few column inches in the Dangling Crimes this week too!
You need residency in one of those rags, that`ll sort them!
